Respected presidents, chairs, delegates and guests,
It's my pleasure to welcome you all to I'MUN '19.
I remember first dreaming of this position in the opening ceremony of my first ever Model United Nations conference. Now, my MUN journey has flourished 3 years from then, and I'm glad that once all is done, I can look back and see myself on the same stage I once dreamed of being on, once as Head of Training and the other, Secretary General.
This year's I'MUN is nothing short of exciting, and most notably, revolutionary. Having a focus on the revolutions of the modern world has been of the utmost importance to myself and the team, and discussing these revolutions in modern time will have a lasting influence on you: the delegates, chairs, presidents. Hopefully, it sheds light on the vast array of revolutionary behaviour in the past, present, and future.
I'm beyond excited to bring I'MUN to the potential I've always been sure it can reach alongside my incredible team, and I'm excited to see where this conference will go and how it'll prosper. I'll see you on October 17th, and hopefully you'll see it prosper too.
Secretary General - I'MUN '19
