Esteemed presidents, chairs, delegates and guests,
It is our pleasure to welcome you all to I’MUN 18.
As chairs in I’MUN ‘17, we both found ourselves not only honoured looking at the secretariat team, but also filled with a certain aspect of charisma and hope in aspiring to one day take their mantle as members of a team which placed such great amounts of effort into such a professional conference. Now, having taken that mantle, our hope becomes our goal: improving on the coming generation. Typically, teaching the upcoming generation is encouraging success, and ergo is to improve on the foundations of our conference. The better the quality of our delegates, the more triumphant I’MUN is as a whole.
As heads of training for I’MUN ‘18, we not only encourage the employment of successful delegates, but the employment of leaders within our training team, presidents, and chairs. Teaching the skill of professional human interaction is developed through socially powerful people, and that is the exact influence we look for in all aspects of our conference. We aim to leave an everlasting effect on the coming generation of delegates who are to take our places a few years from now. Those who will be filled with the same aspect of charisma and hope that we had last year.
